Second visit · After estimate approval & down payment
After your Scale House Assessment, estimate approval, and down payment, a separate Efficiency Audit visit times truck flow and maps the bottlenecks that slow the scale house — then delivers a written Efficiency Report with Recommendations that shows what your site would gain from Scale House automation. Built for grain elevators, gravel and aggregate, concrete and asphalt plants, scrap and recycling, logging and sawmills, and beet and potato receiving. Not part of the first assessment visit.
Second visit after estimate approval and down payment. Starts with a Scale House Assessment (from $350; travel varies; fee credited toward setup if you proceed).
The Efficiency Audit is its own site visit — scheduled after you approve the estimate and pay a down payment. It is not bundled into the first Scale House Assessment visit.
Arrive gate → on scale → off scale → unload start/end → exit. Turnaround and wait times are measured, not guessed.
Where trucks sit: line at the scale, wait after weighing, wait for sampling or quality checks, wait for paperwork or dispatch.
Weights, grades, or ticket data retyped into a second system — office, spreadsheet, or accounting.
Time tied up at grading, sampling, moisture or other quality stations, ticket review, or load verification while the next truck waits.
How the same flow behaves when trucks stack up — harvest, pour season, scrap surge, or log haul peaks.
Software on the scale house floor cuts the waits that paperwork creates. The Efficiency Audit measures how much of that time your site is leaving on the table today — so the report shows what you would gain by capturing weights, load details, and quality data once, at the source.
No retyping ticket weights. Read-only capture from your indicator — certified / NTEP weights stay untouched.
Grades, samples, and readings from instruments you already own move onto the ticket instead of being retyped by hand.
Less time per truck at the window means the line moves — especially at peak season.
Tickets and settlement data go to the office systems you already use — API or clean file import — without a second keyboard.
Scale house and office staff can pull tickets and reports from a phone or tablet instead of walking paper or calling across the yard.
When the ticket already has weight, load details, and status, the office stops calling the scale house for the same numbers.
Visit 1 — Scale House Assessment: equipment inventory, ticket-flow review, recommended setup with a fixed-price quote, and connectivity (from $350; credited toward setup). Then we send the estimate. Visit 2 — Efficiency Audit: after you approve the estimate and pay a down payment, a second site visit produces the Efficiency Report with Recommendations (from $750). Check the interest box on the request form if you want the Efficiency Audit discussed with your estimate — it is not performed on visit 1.
Start with a Scale House Assessment request. The link below opens the form with Efficiency Audit interest already checked — so we know to discuss the second visit after the estimate.
Software only. Read-only capture; certified / NTEP weights are never modified. Not affiliated with any commodity buyer or scale manufacturer.
